September 2006 - National Powerboat Championships
National Championships 2006 - Stewartby 16/17 Sept

It was another successfull weekend for LPRC drivers in the final round of the 2006 National Championships held at Stewartby over the weekend of 16th/17th September.

Paul Balfour won the weekend's NS2000 event and was confirmed as the 2006 NS2000 National Champion whilst junior Ben Morse could only manage a fourth place in his J250 event over the weekend. Despite that he was confirmed as 2006 J250 National Champion, thus retaining the National title he won for the first time in 2005.
NS2000 class:
1st - Paul Balfour, 3rd - Steve Fitzsimmons, 5th - Mark Andrews, 6th - Bill Owen

T850 class:
2nd - Joe Owen, 6th - Stewart Williams

J250 class:
2nd - Matt Palfreyman, 4th Ben Morse
